Each year, many dogs die or suffer from heatstroke when they’re left in a car. Too often, dog owners aren’t aware how fast and high temperatures can rise in the vehicle, even with the windows down or parked in the shade, and how dangerous it can be for their best friend.

 

During the warm summer days, we launched a brand-building campaign to highlight Arken Zoo’s promise “We love animals” and raise awareness of the dangers of leaving a dog in a parked car. We installed staffed dog lodges in different locations around the country – safe and comfortable places where you could leave your dog in good hands while you shopped, at the same time keeping an eye on your best friend’s well-being thanks to an app with webcam surveillance and temperature in realtime.

We also redesigned functional parking discs showing the correlation between outside and inside temperatures that owners can keep in the car as an impactful reminder.
